ActiveSchool treats student fitness data and health evaluations with the highest level of confidentiality. We strictly never sell, commercialize, or share student records with external advertising networks.

Introduction & Overview ActiveSchool ("we", "us", "our") is dedicated to empowering schools, physical educators, parents, and students with evidence-based physical fitness assessments, developmental tracking, and health literacy tools. We recognize the vital importance of safeguarding personal information, especially data pertaining to children and minors.

This Privacy Policy explains how ActiveSchool collects, processes, stores, and protects personal and health data in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act 2023) of India, the Information Technology Act 2000, and relevant educational and child protection guidelines.

2. Information We Collect We collect information strictly necessary to facilitate fitness assessments, generate comparative developmental reports, and communicate with participating schools and parents:

• Student Profile Data: Student name, grade, section, age, date of birth, gender, and school admission number (as supplied by the affiliated school). • Physical Fitness & Health Metrics: Anthropometric measures (height, weight, BMI), cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, flexibility, speed, agility, and motor coordination metrics recorded during bi-annual school fitness assessments. • Parent & Guardian Information: Parent name, contact number, email address, and communication preferences for sharing student progress reports and specialist recommendations. • School & Educator Information: School name, affiliation details (CBSE/ICSE/State Board), teacher/coordinator credentials, and administrative contact numbers. • Technical & Log Data: IP address, browser type, device information, and session logs when accessing the ActiveSchool portal or mobile application.

3. How We Use Collected Data All collected data is utilized exclusively for legitimate educational, health tracking, and school fitness purposes:

• To calculate standardized fitness percentiles based on national physical literacy benchmarks. • To generate individual student health and fitness report cards accessible to authorized parents and school authorities. • To enable school administrators and physical education teachers to identify fitness trends, plan targeted PE interventions, and monitor cohort health. • To facilitate tele-consultations or medical specialist recommendations when requested by parents. • To maintain system integrity, security, and continuous platform improvements.

We strictly DO NOT sell, rent, monetize, or trade student personal data or health metrics to third-party commercial advertisers or data brokers under any circumstances.

4. Child Data Protection & Parental Consent Protecting minors is our foundational priority. In accordance with DPDP regulations: • School Partnership Authorization: Participating schools partner with ActiveSchool as authorized data fiduciaries, obtaining appropriate institutional and parental consent for conducting fitness assessments as part of the school curriculum. • Parental Control: Parents have the right to view, download, and request correction or deletion of their child's personal and fitness assessment records at any time through their verified parent portal account. • No Targeted Advertising: We never profile students for commercial behavioral advertising or marketing campaigns.

5. Data Storage, Security & Retention • Encryption Standards: All data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.3/HTTPS, and all databases are protected by enterprise-grade encryption at rest (AES-256). • Secure Infrastructure: Data is stored within high-security, ISO 27001-certified cloud data centers located within India, adhering to national data sovereignty mandates. • Access Control: Role-based access control (RBAC) ensures only authorized school coordinators, teachers, and verified parents can access relevant student records. • Data Retention: Assessment records are maintained throughout the student's active enrollment in an affiliated school and archived or purged in accordance with institutional data retention agreements or upon verified parental deletion requests.

6. Third-Party Disclosures Data is shared strictly on a need-to-know basis: • With the student's affiliated school administration and designated physical education teachers. • With licensed medical specialists or fitness consultants only upon explicit parental request or consultation booking. • With authorized infrastructure hosting partners bound by strict confidentiality and data protection obligations. • When legally mandated by court order or lawful governmental authority.

7. Your Rights Under Indian Data Protection Laws Parents, legal guardians, and school authorities possess the following rights: • Right to Access: View all personal and fitness assessment data stored in our systems. • Right to Correction: Rectify inaccurate or outdated contact or demographic details. • Right to Erasure: Request the deletion of student records upon leaving the school or discontinuing the service. • Right to Grievance Redressal: Lodge inquiries or complaints with our designated Data Protection Officer.
